The 7th Grade Boys basketball team completed a successful and enjoyable season in 2011. The team improved significantly from the beginning of the year to the end. Comprised of players with limited competitive basketball experience, the team worked hard all year to improve on individual skills and overall team play. They were competitive in every game and could have been on the winning side of several games they eventually lost. The 8th graders had a successful season this year. They finished the regular season with a 6-2 record. In the playoffs the Falcons lost in the semifinals to the team that won the championship. “I am very proud of this group of guys. This team had great chemistry and played very hard." said Coach Harrison.

The 7th grade volleyball team had a great season. All of the girls worked hard to improve their skills and knowledge of the game. By the end of it, they were passing to each other, serving more consistently, and working in some hits. They ended on a high note with a win at their final game. Their determination and positive attitude made it a fun and memorable season. The 8th grade volleyball team built on the foundations they learned last year. Consistent serving and some great digs helped lead them to a fantastic season. While they faced some challenging teams, they kept their spirits up, working hard up to the last points of the games. The girls moved beyond a one hit playing style to be able to set up the ball and work in some hard hits.

Jr. High Softball wins the Prep's first Championship The Lady Falcons battled back from being five runs down and won the school's first Jr. High Softball Championship. The season started off roughly, though, with the team losing its first two games against two very strong teams. But the girls were determined and worked hard to improve themselves in fielding and batting, and the rest of the season was very impressive. The Lady Falcons went on to the playoffs, defeating both teams who had beaten them at the beginning of the season. Click for morning show appearance Click for photo thumbnail gallery

Overall, it was an outstanding year for the Jr. High tackle football program. The success of the season was not mearured by wins and losses, but by effort, dedication and a commitment to excellence on the field of play. The team was dominated with 7th graders ready to listen, learn and help continue to build a strong foundation to our growing football program. Throughout the season they battled every opponent four quarters. It was offense, scoring, defense getting huge stops and special teams recovering onside kicks. The coaching staff played an aggressive offensive with their play calling, unpredictable defensive stunts and unexpected special teams plays and witnessed the Falcons display teamwork, perseverance and a willingness to never quit.

This year was a learning experience for the Junior High Group. The teams and players evolved from young, inexperienced team to a highly competitive unit within the season. With a high number of new starters, they competed hard in every game and were easily the most improved team during the season going into playoffs. Season culminated with taking it to the eventual league champions with a lead going into the final inning, only to fall to defeat by a single run after a bad break or bounce of the baseball. Overall, this season was a wonderful opportunity for the players to learn how to play the game and prepare for many future successes.
