The Prep’s Speech and Debate Team dominated the
Copper Canyon Speech and Debate Invitational taking
home multiple individual event awards as well as the
tournament's over-all Team Championship. Senior Kaylinn
Crowl was a double event champion winning Congressional
Debate and Expository Speaking. Kaylinn also added a
2nd place in Poetry Interpretation and nearly missed an
award in Public Forum Debate. Junior Christopher Hief was
event champion in Prose Speaking, Emily Parker added a
fourth event championship in Original Oratory to her list of
awards this season, and Ashlyn Tupper was event
champion in Radio Speaking for the 3rd time.
