an improved team and by the end of the season both teams were competing

the girls displayed on and off the court and felt each team grew as a group
and had a lot of fun with each other.

The Jr. High Baseball Team was a great team this year. They set goals at the
beginning of the year and reached them all except winning a game in the
playoffs. They had contributions from both their 7th and 8th graders and had
a great overall season as a team but also as individuals. "I am very proud of
our end result," said Prep Coach Lynkon Patterson.

The Coaching staff focused this year on basic tackle football fundamentals:
how to tackle, take a hit, deliver a hit, offensive stance, defensive stance,
take a hand-off, catch and throw a pass.  With the team arriving to Phoenix
Christian early we had a feeling that the game could be interesting for a
number of reasons.  "The team was competitive, eager, open, selfless and
energetic throughout the entire season," said Coach Kane Wilson.  "With the
majority of the team being 7th graders, we are looking forward to the 2010
season and being even more competitive."
