Back to School Bash
Friday, August 14th, 7 pm - midnight
It was indeed a Bash! The Prep's annual Back to School Bash at the Glendale Aquatics and
Recreation Center was a great time with water fun, good food and lots of dancing.

Talking Pointes Talking Pointes administrative assemblies are held the first (Jr. High) and second (High School) Fridays of each quarter as well as various times throughout the school year. Jr. High students attend with their Literature class and High School students attend with their English class. Talking Pointes provide the administration an opportunity to explain campus policies and expectations.

Xtremepointes Xtremepointe assemblies are held at various times throughout the school year on Tuesdays during extended lunch. Xtremepointes are voluntary and highlight one of the four aspects of the Prep’s Everything Counts! character education program: Create Energy Become a person who is positive Impact Others Become a person who benefits others Avoid Detours Become a person who perseveres Build Forever Become a person who makes good decisions
Classroom Awards Classroom Awards Assemblies are held on the final day of Semester Exams and provide teachers the opportunity to recognize students who have demonstrated Excellence, Effort and Enthusiasm.

Senior Picture Trip
Tuesday, September 8th, 5 am - 9 pm
The Seniors traveled to San Diego's Pacific Beach for their Class Picture.

Old School Spirit Week
Monday-Friday, September 14th18th, extended lunch activities and evening events
Going into the Homecoming game and the float judging (the final point event of Old School
Spirit Week 2009), the Class of 2012 had a two point lead over the Seniors. The Sophomores
first place float finish sealed their championship with 37 overall points.

Midnight Madness
Sunday, Nov. 1st, 10:30 pm - 12:30 am
The Prep's annual Midnight Madness kicks off the basketball season and will feature a
faculty/alumni vs students games as well as three-point, half court and slam dunk contests.
Overtimes
Fridays, January 8th and 29th, 9-11 pm
Following the Falcon's Friday night home basketball game the Prep will host a high school
dance. Admission is $5 and Student ID is required. Approved guest and alumni passes are
required for non-Prep students.
Physics Trip
March 15th-16th
The Prep's Physics and AP Physics students will participate in Six Flags Magic Mountain's
Physics Day. The participation fee of $100 includes transportation and entrance into Magic
Mountain. Students may register with full payment and completed permission form from
February 16th-26th.
Band Trip
April 1st-3rd
The Prep's Band will travel to Disneyland for workshops and a live studio recording. North
Pointe's Color Guard will also attend workshops prior to both groups enjoying the park.
Admission is $150.
Senior Trip
April 29th - May 3rd
The Class of 2010 will celebrate the end of secondary education in beautiful Maui. The cost
for the trip, which includes airfare and lodging, is $1400. A non-refundable deposit or $200 is
due August 28th.
Freshmen/Sophomore Beach Party
Sunday, April 18th, 6-9 pm
The Freshmen and Sophomore's Beach Party in the Rock Lobster Stadium will kick off the
Prep Spring Fling festivities as students enjoy swimming, beach volleyball, BBQ dinner and
dancing. Admission is $10 and Student ID is required. No guest passes.
Rock Lobster Spring Fling
April 19th-23rd
The Prep's courtyard will be transformed in the Rock Lobster Stadium for Spring Fling 2010.
The sand volleyball court and two large pools will play host to outfit contests, individual
challenges and class competitions. The week will end with a huge assembly awards ceremony
featuring the annual High School Belly Flop contest.
Junior/Senior Prom
Saturday, April 24th, 8 pm - midnight
The Prep's 2010 Junior/Senior Prom will be at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort.
Participants experience great food, casino games and lots of dancing. Admission is $60 and
Student ID is required. Approved guest and alumni passes are required for non-Prep students
and Prep Freshmen and Sophomores invited by a Prep Junior or Senior.
Graduates BBQ
Tuesday, May 18th, 6:30 pm
Seniors and their parents will enjoy the Prep's annual Graduates' BBQ. The event provides
students the opportunity to reminisce about their time at North Pointe and express their
appreciation to their classmates, parents, faculty and administrators. The dinner is free to
graduates and their families.
preptv Prepie Awards
Thursday, May 20th, 7:00 pm
Students, athletes and performers will be recognized for memorable academic, athletic and
arts images posted on preptv.org throughout the school year in a Awards Ceremony that will
feature guest presenters and artists.
High School Graduation
Thursday, May 27th, 7:00 pm
The Class of 2010 will receive their diplomas at the beautiful Glendale Renaissance Hotel
in a graduation celebration that will feature a live 'before the show' show, student speeches,
individual graduate slide shows and academic, athletic and arts wards.
Although students are not required to be in dress code at extracurricular events, they are expected to dress appropriately.
Hair and clothing Dress Code guidelines are not enforced during Spirit Week and Spring Fling when students are participating in outfit contests.
Students may wear modest swim wear while participating in water activities.
