Life Science
This course introduces students to basic life science.  Topics of study include cells, heredity, classification system, plants, animals,
ecosystems and environment, and the human body.

Earth Science
This course is designed to seek an understanding of the Earth and its neighbors in space.  It includes the study of geology,
oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy.

Health and Nutrition Science
This course is designed to help the student develop health and nutrition concepts which are meaningful and relevant to the personal and
social needs of our times. Basic skills, such as communication, goal-setting, decision-making, refusal skills and stress management are
covered. Topics covered are: mental and social health, human anatomy, nutrition, alcohol and other drugs, communicable diseases,
personal safety and first aid, consumer health, and environmental health. It is hoped that students can make wise decisions due to
increased knowledge about health issues.

Reality Science
Reality Science is designed to emphasize the impact of science on society by focusing on the important role that science plays and will
continue to play in their personal and professional lives.
