As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

academic curriculum as well as opportunities to also excel in athletics
and the arts and enjoy a culture that features campus activities that
cannot be matched by anyone." Although North Pointe is one of the
largest charter schools in the State, serving Jr. High and High School
students, the class size average is still under 30 students per classroom.

Academics
High School students will continue to take 14 of their 16 core credits as
regular classes or 12 of their 16 core credits as Honors or Advanced
Placement (AP). “It’s virtually unheard of for a school our size to offer
comprehensive academic programs at both the regular and accelerated
pace,” said Principal Gow, “It allows students the choice to pursue
Honors or AP in one or more core subject areas and still progress at a
regular pace in other areas.” The Prep is expanding its free summer

Choosing the Prep
North Pointe is one of only seven public high schools
in the State of Arizona accredited by the
North Central
Association
as a College Prep School. The Prep has
a demanding traditional academic program with a
classical emphasis that provides students a solid,
balanced education which utilizes basic time tested
knowledge and skills in history, languages, literature,
math, reading, science and the arts that become
increasingly complex throughout the course of study.
Standards are set high in the firm belief that higher
standards will lead to higher student achievement.

Activities
How do you improve campus activities that are second to none? By
Prep'n them Up! Next year will feature dances turned into huge events
and spirit weeks that become extravaganzas. Every activity will be
Prep'd Up so that students have the opportunity to develop
relationships and create memories that will last a lifetime. "The fact that
our students are engaged is not by accident," said Principal Gow.
"Every activity is intentionally designed with a purpose. We work very
hard at maintaining a culture where students want to be at the Prep. We
have a core belief that a motivated student who wants to be here will
learn."
North Pointe will experience record enrollment for 2011-2012 as the
Prep continues to expand its programs and attract families who desire
big school opportunities on a small school campus. "While other schools
are making cutbacks, our increased enrollment allows us to continue to
expand," said the Prep's Principal Richard Gow.
Unlike some of the other elite
charter schools, the Prep
does not attempt to artificially
manipulate the type of
student it enrolls. "Our
seventh graders do not have
to take Latin and our
freshmen do not have to
master geometry," continued
Principal Gow. "We attract
