As a general rule, preptv does not post the last name of elementary students while identifying their participation in a school activity or promoting their accomplishment in Knowledge, Character,
and Leadership.  Likewise preptv does not include any reference to a student in a posted jpeg or mpeg image file name.  These precautions should eliminate parental concerns about a child being
identified as the result of an Internet search.  However, in the event that a parent is uncomfortable with a posted text or image, preptv will remove the text or image upon notification.

North Pointe's Varsity Volleyball Team won the school's first volleyball playoff game defeating Miami High School, 3-2. "We were successful tonight
because we pulled together to finish at the end," said Coach Leonardi. "We played so well and there were some great plays." In round two, the Lady
Falcons fell to #4 Wilcox, 0-3.

Game 19 vs Phoenix Country Day
In a two-day turn around, the Prep played the #3 team in the State, Phoenix Country Day, and fell 0-3. "It was a tough loss," said Coach Leonardi. The
girls did a great job fighting and working together throughout the match. We were able to learn a lot from this match which is always a good thing."
Hannah Arliskas, and Hosanna Alvarado each had a block. Taylor Little had a great night setting.

Game 18 at Phoenix Country Day
"Going to four matches in this game was great," said Coach Leonardi after her team fell to the #3 team in the State, Phoenix Country Day. "The girls
learned it takes more communication the more tired they get. Our offense did an amazing job." Hosanna Alavarado led the team with 6 kills, and she
also had 3 huge blocks. Each of the girls had at least a single block.

Game 17 vs Scottsdale Christian
The Falcons fell to #8 Scottsdale Christian 0-3. "This match was a good fight, the girls were pretty confident going in to this match and they worked
hard," said Coach Leonardi. Kaitlin Ulman had 11 kills for the night.. Hannah Arliskas and Jennifer Hall each had 2 blocks.

Game 16 vs Tempe Prep
"In all the games I have coached at the Prep over the past four years, last night’s game was the most outstanding," said Coach Leonardi. "Although we
lost, 2-3, my girls played with heart and enthusiasm and it showed throughout this five game match." Kaitlin Ulman and Cassie Murphy led the team
with 8 kills each. Jennifer Hall and Brittani Jajdelski led the team with 3 blocks each.

Game 15 vs Tonopah Valley
Although the Lady Falcons are 5-10, they are still ranked #13 in the State and are eyeing a playoff bid for the second year in row. Unfortunately, they
did drop their tenth loss of the season to Tonopah, 1-3. "It was a tough loss," said Coach Leonardi. "We blame ourselves for the loss, so we have
learned a lot about preparing and focusing before a game. The girls did well individually." Brittani Jajdelski had 3 blocks in the match. Taylor Little had
5 serving aces. Cassie Murphy led the team with 7 kills for the night.

Game 14 vs Westwind
After a very tough schedule, the Lady Falcons appreciated an easy three game win against Westwind. "It was a quick win for us and we were able to
work on running a quick offense," said Coach Leonardi. Kaitlin Ulman had 10 strong serving aces. Cassie Murphy had 7 kills for the match. Hannah
Arliskas led the team with 2 huge blocks.

Game 13 vs Sedona
Although the Prep lost to Sedona, 0-3, they played well. "They were able to pull out some great plays," said Coach Leonardi. Kaitlin Ulman led the
team with 4 kills and Jennifer Hall had 2 serving aces. Hannah Arliskas came in strong for us and shut down a hitter with a huge block.

Game 12 vs Northwest Christian
"We learned to play defense against a quick offense tonight and learned what kind of shape we were in," said Coach Leonardi after her Falcons were
defeated 0-3 by Northwest Christian, one of the top teams in the State. "We kept our heads held high even though we lost." Hosanna Alvarado led the
team with 9 digs and was scrappy throughout the whole match.

Game 11 vs South Pointe
"We won because we were able to stay strong throughout 3 games and win the match," said Coach Leonardi after her team won their fourth straight
match defeating South Pointe 3-0. "Sometimes it is more difficult playing a team that is very quiet. The girls kept the momentum on their court. Our
serving was on point and really aggressive," Coach Leonardi continued. The Lady Falcons had a total of 9 aces for the match. Brittani Jejdelski led the
team with 7 kills.

Game 10 vs Phoenix Christian
The Cougars were the latest victim as the Lady Falcons continue their winning streak with a victory over Phoenix Christian, 3-0. The Prep has won 9 of
their last 10 games during the 3 match winning streak. Although the Prep is 3-7, they are ranked 13th in the State because 5 of the 7 loses have come
to the current teams ranked #1 - #5 in the State.

Game 9 at Bourgade
The Lady Falcons captured their second win of the season defeating Bourgade Catholic, 3-0. Kaitlin Ulman led the team with 8 kills. "The girls played
together and were able to work on specific things during the match. They are becoming more confident and sure of themselves as the year goes on,"
said Coach Leonardi.

Game 8 vs Estrella Foothills
"It was great to finally get our first win," said Coach Leonardi. "It's hard when your first seven games are against the top teams in the State." The Lady
Falcons were amazing against the 3A Wolves displaying great chemistry and using digs and kills to keep the momentum going. "Brittani's facial to one
of their players really sealed the deal." Brittani Jajdelski led the Prep with 6 kills.

Game 7 vs Horizon Honors
Although the Lady Falcons lost 3-1, the match was an outstanding fight and the team showed a lot of character and heart in the 3rd and 4th games.  
“We realized we started to fight too late in the match,” said Coach Leonardi. “We learned a lot and will only improve in our matches to come.”  Jennifer
Hall and Brittani Jajdelski had 2 solo blocks for the night.  Kaitlin Ulman led the team in kills with 7.

Game 6 vs Valley Christian
The State's #2 ranked Valley Christian dealt the Lady Falcons their sixth straight loss of the season, 3-0.

Game 5 vs Arizona Lutheran Academy
The Prep's inability to finish games cost them an opportunity to upset #3 ranked ALA. "We played a great match. The girls played amazing together,"
said Coach Leonardi. "We came out strong and dominated - we couldn’t finish in the end." Kaitlin Ulman led the team with 11 kills, and Hosanna
Alvarado had 7 kills in the 1-3 loss.

Game 4 at Scottsdale Christian
Although the Lady Falcons played well as a team, their service errors and overall inability to finish games caused them to lose to #1 ranked Scottsdale
Christian, 0-3. "The girls were much happier with their playing and chemistry out on the court this match," said Coach Leonardi. Hosanna Alvarado
lead the team with 14 digs.

Game 3 at Camp Verde
"This game was very upsetting for us as a team," said Coach Leonardi after North Pointe's 2-3 loss to Camp Verde. "The girls worked very hard and
played neck and neck into the 5th game. We let the pace of the opponent control us. We have to learn to have the momentum for every point during a
match." Kaitlin Ulman had 10 kills and Brittani Jajdelski had 7.

Game 2 at Arizona Lutheran Academy
"Our first away game was successful in many ways," said Coach Leonardi after her Falcons lost to #3 ranked Arizona Lutheran Academy, 0-3. "We
were able to improve in our serving and confidence tonight. We were getting high and blocking a lot of hits which showed their hard work paying off."
Taylor Little had 47 assists.

Game 1 vs Tonopah
The Lady Falcons struggled in their season and home opener falling to #6 ranked Tonapah 3-1. The Prep's Senior leadership and overall tremendous
effort was no match for the numerous missed service opportunities. "I was very proud of my team and the teamwork that was accomplished," said
Coach Leonardi. "We learned a lot and will only improve in our matches to come." Kaitlin Ulman led the team in kills with 7.
