Game 9 vs Phoenix Country Day
Errors erased the Preps strong start and the Falcons lost for the second time this season to Phoenix Country Day, 9-3. "We came ready to play today," said
Coach Idczak. "Alan came out throwing strikes, our defense backed him up and we were swinging the bat and putting the ball in play. It was one of our best
starts of the year but then we made a few mental mistakes in the field and had trouble hitting the curve ball for a few innings. The team played hard and
showed great improvement since the last time we faced PCDS." Alan Garcia (2-4, 3RBI) and Jacob Effron (2-4) led the Falcons offensively.

Game 7 vs Scottsdale Christian
The Falcons fell to Scottsdale Christian 26-0. “We got off to a solid start to the game by holding them to just a few runs through the first two innings but we
were not as solid on offense," said Coach Idczak. "Their pitchers did a good job of throwing strikes and hitting their targets around the strike zone, and we
couldn’t get our bats on the ball today.” North Pointe's Matt Arellano and Jesse Rico led the Prep's offense each going 1-2.

Game 5 vs Horizon Honors
Jacob Effron pitched 5 innings with 4 strikeouts as the Falcons defeated Horizon Honors 25-5. "We always emphasize hard work and today hard work paid
off." said Coach Nick Idczak. "We had our starting catcher, Andrew Sanders, go down with injury in 2nd inning and Gabe Gil and the rest of the team stepped
up and finished solid. We never let up today." The Prep was led offensively by Alan Garcia, 4-4 and 3 RBI, Jesse Rico, 4-5 and 5 RBI and Effron 3-5, 3 RBI.

Game 4 vs Canyon State
Good pitching and hitting enabled the Falcons to defeat Canyon State 13-3 and get the second win of the season. "We have been trying to learn something
from every game," said Coach Ken Seavers. "One thing we've learned is that nothing positive can happen if we don't throw strikes. Today, Alan threw strikes
and it resulted in a win. We never stopped hitting today either. From the first pitch to the last pitch we were putting the ball in play and making smart base
running decisions." Alan Garcia pitched a two-hitter through five innings with 4 strike outs. He also went 4-4 with 5 RBI and 3 doubles. Matt Smith also led the
Prep's offense batting 3-4 with 4 RBI and Matt Arellano scored 3 runs

Game 3 vs Valley Christian
North Pointe's pitching struggled again as the Prep lost in five innings to Valley Christian, 16-6. The Falcons were led on offense by Jacob Effron, 1-2 with a
triple, and Blake Stine, 1-3 with an RBI.

Game 2 vs Phoenix Country Day
The Prep was hit early and often by Phoenix Country Day and fell 25-6. Blake Stine and Matt Smith went 2-3 to lead the Falcons.

Game 1 vs Phoenix Christian
The Falcons won the season opener defeating Phoenix Christian 11-9. North Pointe led through 6 innings. Going into the 7th inning down by 1, the Falcons
scored 5 runs in the top of the 7th to go up 11-7. The Cougars scored 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th to make it 11-9 with one out, and then the Cougars hit
into a double-play to end the game 11-9. The Prep was lead offensively by Matt SMith's 3-3 batting. The wining pitcher was Blake Stine.
